Mary's conception and life were Immaculate TUES, 9 DEC: St, Damasus, a Roman, became Holy Father in 366. He fought heretics who denied the divinity of the Holy Ghost, and is attributed by St. Jerome to having introduced the new version of Scriptures, the Vulgate. In many churches, shrines in her honor have been set up for the edification of the faithful.
